Medvedev recovered from a break down in the initial set against the difficult Frenchman, taking four of the last five points to gain the advantage.

The competitors exchanged break points in the middle set before Moutet, attempting for his first ATP Tour title, seized the initiative to force a decider.

Moutet defended four initial chances in a tight third set before Medvedev secured a break to 15 to serve for the match.

Fittingly, he earned the title with a rally at the net area, with his opponent incapable to manage a volley after a lengthy match.
